WHAT IS CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol, a naturally occurring chemical compound derived from the cannabis plant. It’s an active ingredient in oils, creams, and cannabis edibles that help users relax and calm down. CBD, unlike tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, isn’t psychoactive except in rare cases. Some people, about 5% of users, may react differently, usually the same people who have negative “side effects from Advil or Tylenol,” says Dr. Junella Chin, an osteopathic physician and medical cannabis expert.

CBD isn’t regulated by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). You can pick up products from different manufacturers with inconsistent potencies – and get the results you can expect from those inconsistencies. HennepX is tested and bottled in an established third-party lab under strict controls so each product in our line has exactly the right potency. You can trust each does is accurate and will deliver the results you expect. Because CBD products aren’t regulated by the FDA, you can’t know for sure whether the product you buy has the active ingredients listed on the label. The product may also contain other, unknown products. HennepX CBD is tested at an experienced and trusted third-party lab to ensure its purity and potency. You always know exactly what’s in HennepX – and it’s organic!

Laws around cannabis are relaxing across the country, but it remains illegal federally. Still, CBD is readily available in most parts of the country; all 50 states have laws legalizing it with varying restrictions. HennepX complies with all federal regulations for shipping CBD across state lines – 0.3% or less THC. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has responded, allowing passengers to fly with CBD oil containing no more than 0.3% THC.

Studies have shown CBD may help ease symptoms of several conditions – anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic pain are all responsive to CBD. We don’t know for sure how most painkillers work, including CBD, but we believe because it stops the body from absorbing anandamide, there’s more of it in your bloodstream to reduce the amount of pain you can feel. CBD can limit brain and nervous system inflammation, benefitting some people with chronic pain, insomnia, and certain immune responses. Throughout the human body, there are CB1 and CB2 receptors – these are the receptors with which CBD interacts. With HennepX CBD, you can recover faster and perform better than when treated with inferior CBD products, or not at all.
