How CBD Can Help with Arthritis and Joint Pain

People suffering from these debilitating conditions would understandably want to try CBD to help manage their pain and inflammation, especially if other treatment options have not provided an acceptable balance between effective pain relief and unwanted side effects.  Because CBD is widely regarded as safe, there are very few reasons not to recommend it.  If you're considering using CBD to help with your joint pain, please keep the following in mind:

Not all these conditions are the same, despite pain being a shared symptom.  For certain conditions, prescription medications are still highly recommended because they help prevent permanent joint damage and worsening disability.  Talk with your doctor about your plans and to ensure that CBD doesn't interfere with any medications you may be taking.

The main ways to use CBD in the context of managing joint pain would be as a tincture or capsule taken internally for whole-body support or as a topical—or better yet, both.  When passing through the digestive system, some of the therapeutic benefit will be lost to metabolic processes, thus you may want to experiment with dosage in order to find the best results for you.  If your pain is location-specific, try applying a CBD cream to the area to see if the pain reduction is more effective that way.

For millions of Americans, pain is a part of each day, causing immense suffering.  If your arthritis or joint pain hasn't been getting any better or if you want to try something more natural, CBD is definitely worth your attention.  If you have previously tried CBD without success, you may want to consider a different dose or application method, or else look into a different brand since proper quality control is harder to come by in an under-regulated market.  At the end of the day, what's most important is that we try our best to feel better: beginning a CBD regimen may very well reduce your pain levels and bring a renewed sense of hope to your daily life.
